Kid's Craft

Atelier De Broderie's Kid's Craft is conducted in small groups  for ages 6 years & above.
It aims to:

• Bring out hidden talents & creativity in children

• Encourage the appreciation of aesthetic values

• Enhance motor skills

• Improve self esteem through rewarding achievements

• Encourage social skills & friendship

• Preserve & promote the arts & craft skills of bygone eras

Atelier De Broderie offers Kid's Craft courses 1 through 6.
Students who complete courses 1, 2 & 3 will be awarded a craft certificate.
Students who complete 4 to 6 or all courses will be awarded a Diploma in Needlework, Embroidery & Beading
 

Children's Course Details

*Materials & tools are provided for all courses.

Course 1 - Felt Applique Work
Total:   4 hours
           2 x 2 hour sessions
Cost:   $150

For ages 6 & above

Course 2 - Felt & Yarn Embroidery
Total:   4 hours
           2 x 2 hour sessions
Cost:   $180

For ages 6 & above

Course 3 - 6" Felt Dolls
Total:   6 hours
           3 x 2 hour sessions
Cost:   $200

For ages 6 & above

Course 4 - Crafting a Butterfly Brooch
                 (Fabric beading & embroidery techniques using beads and sequins)    
Total:   6 hours
           3 x 2 hour sessions
Cost:   $250

For ages 8 & above

Course 5 - Crafting an Evening Purse
                 (Fabric beading & embroidery techniques using beads and sequins)    
Total:   9 hours
           3 x 3 hour sessions
Cost:   $280

For ages 8 & above

Course 6 - Advance fabric beading & embroidery techniques using beads and sequins    
Total:   12 hours
           4 x 3 hour sessions
Cost:   $300

For ages 8 & above
